Some desktop and web assistants connect to remote MCP servers through an Integrations or Connectors UI instead of a local config file.
OAuth URL
Use your dashboard MCP CONNECT modal to copy the hosted MCP URL. Paste it into the integration form — do not append API keys to the URL for OAuth.
Typical steps
- Open Settings → Integrations (or Connectors).
- Choose Add custom integration / Connect.
- Paste the chamelAIn MCP URL.
- Complete browser sign-in and approve access on the consent screen.
Local config files
If your app also supports a local `claude_desktop_config.json`-style file for stdio servers, that path is for local processes — use the Integrations UI for chamelAIn's hosted OAuth endpoint instead.
