Welcome to chamelAIn. This guide orients you on the dashboard and helps you activate your first persona.
Sign in and open the dashboard
- Go to Sign in and create an account or log in with your existing credentials.
- After authentication you land on the dashboard — your home for personas, MCP connect, and search.
Activate your first persona
- Browse the persona library on the dashboard or visit the Marketplace.
- Open a starter persona and click Activate to add it to your workspace.
- Activated personas appear in your library and are available through MCP once you connect Cursor.
Connect Cursor (recommended next step)
To use personas inside Cursor, connect via MCP:
- On the dashboard, find the MCP CONNECT panel.
- Click Authorize for Cursor (MCP) — recommended.
- Follow the steps in Connect Cursor via MCP.
Use personas in Cursor
After MCP is connected, load a persona in chat with the `#<tag>` shorthand — for example, `#clarity-architect help me write acceptance criteria`. Cursor calls chamelAIn's `get_persona` tool and applies that persona's instructions for your task.
